Willing Worshipers Outreach Ministries was implanted in my spirit a long time ago, out of the love that I have for my brother. I am Roshelle Witty; and LL. is my brother; an EX-OFFENDER. My brother has always been my best friend my whole life, even during his incarceration for almost 30 years. After traveling many miles in distance, lots of tears (some joyous and some not), lots of visits, numerous phone calls and pure love, Willing Worshipers Ministries is now pushing and Birthing to be a blessing to many both near and far. I knew that I would support him through his time as we all have made mistakes; some greater than others. However, mistakes was forgiven when Jesus died on the cross and washed away our sins.
According to my bible, (1 John 1:9) tells me, "If we confess our sins , God is faithful and just to forgive of our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. "Therefore, I believe WE are forgiven and will not be tormented by our past". Although one has consequences for their actions and behavior, does not mean they should continue to be persecuted for the rest of their lives. I believe we are to help one another to grow in spirit, truth and maturity. Men will rise and women will walk with them side by side with pride, trusting in their leadership, knowing that he is walking with Godly principles. According to biblical studies as we grow, I envision families will be healed and be able to come together and enjoy their loved one again.
The newly released brother or sister still needs us to pray and support them through their next journey. I have the faith that this mission will be very successful and will touch many lives through every venture that God allows us to step out on. The journey was not always easy, but well worth it. LL's growth was a long time coming however, I could see him change each year. Business wise, he helped me to make rational decisions in each venture that I have started thus far. I am prayerfully waiting his release date, so he too can run this race; helping me to help others to get home to their families.
I know that there are other sisters, mothers, wives and friends that feel just like I did; don't know which way to turn. We will support with encouragement, direction and guidance as to help them survive the process too. For Together We Stand, in Jesus name!
Through the years, I saw a lot of inmates with their families. I even saw some inmates without their family support during family support gatherings and activities. So many incarcerated men and women don't have the support that LL had and have, however, In Jesus name, we are all family now. We desire to help and assist those that commit themselves to becoming productive men and women while abiding by the laws of the land.
Be blessed in Jesus name.
